Blueprints

Most onboarding processes are built from scratch, again and again and again. I co-founded Allboarder to fix that, designing a platform that let teams templatize sequences of meetings, tasks, and resources into shareable Blueprints, so managers could stop rebuilding from scratch and new hires could actually get a consistent first week.

Problem

Before a new hire even starts, managers and HR are already rebuilding onboarding from scratch. They dig through Slack threads, outdated docs, and buried links just to piece together something “good enough.” What should feel intentional and welcoming ends up rushed, inconsistent, and scattered.

Solution

To eliminate repetitive setup, I designed Blueprints that allow teams to build an onboarding flow once and reuse it for every new hire. This system automates meetings, tasks, and resources while keeping everything in one place, with added tools for templates, group management, and progress visibility.

Outcome

Reduced onboarding setup time by an average of four hours per cohort and minimized missed steps across teams. After monitoring market conditions through a hiring market contraction, I made the deliberate decision to sunset the platform in December 2025, avoiding sunk cost and walking away with clear product and GTM learnings.

Co-founded Allboarder and served as sole designer from zero through multiple iterations. I owned product vision, UX strategy, end-to-end design, and the visual system, while partnering closely with engineering to ship a product with paying customers and consistent quarterly active usage.
